Pulisic speaks on replacing Eden Hazard at Chelsea

United States international, Christian Pulisic, has declared that he is not looking to replace outgoing Chelsea ace, Eden Hazard, at Stamford Bridge.

Pulisic completed a £58million move to Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund in last January's transfer window but re-joined the Bundesliga giants on loan for the remainder of the 2018-19 season.

The 20 year old has now said that he didn't join Chelsea to focus on replicating what Hazard did at Stamford Bridge but to focus on himself.

He, however, described Hazard as a "fantastic player".

"Eden's a fantastic player, we all know that. If I can get anywhere close to him, I'll be more than happy," Pulisic was quoted by Chelsea's official website as saying on Tuesday.

"But I'm coming in to be my own player. I expect a lot from myself, for me that's enough.

"Obviously there's pressure from outside - that's to be expected.

"I want to be successful, be part of this team and make an impact. They are my goals and to become the best player I can be,"[/i] Pulisic said.
