Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reveals punishment for Man United players after they failed to beat Cardiff

Angry Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has warned Manchester United flops that he could likely send half of the squad members packing this summer.

According to UK Sun, the United boss did not spear his side's blushes after a humiliating 2-0 home defeat by relegated Cardiff City on Sunday, May 12, insisting they embarrassed him, the club and the fans.

The Norwegian cancelled a squad debriefing exercise on Monday, May 13, and simply reeled out the short-term future to them.

Solskjaer then warned he was ready to 'sack' of the squad because of their attitude.

And having finished outside the top four, United will now be backing fierce rivals and noisy neighbours Man City to win the FA Cup or they will have to rearrange their pre-season.

If Watford claim the FA Cup this weekend, United would kick-off their Europa League campaign in the second qualifying round, with the first leg tie on July 25 when the Red Devils should be keeping a date with Spurs in Shanghai on their pre-season tour.

The Red Devils' endured a miserable end to the campaign under Solskjaer claiming only eight points from a possible 27 points after failing to beat Cardiff or Huddersfield in their last two matches.
