Champions League: What Pochettino told Tottenham players about Liverpool at half time

England left-back, Danny Rose, has admitted that Tottenham took hope from the performance of their Premier League rivals, Liverpool to stage a come back against Ajax on Wednesday night.

Rose said Tottenham boss, Mauricio Pochettino told them about Liverpool's performance.

Tottenham fought back from 3-0 down on aggregate to secure their place in the final of the Champions League.

Tottenham will face Liverpool in the Champions League final in Madrid.

Lucas Moura scored twice in five minutes to give Mauricio Pochettino's side hope before the Brazilian snatched the winner in the fifth minute of added time.

Rose told BT Sports, "We saw Liverpool last night. It goes to show it's not over until it's over.

"We were disappointed with the first leg how we started and we started like that tonight. But after the break we came out.

"The gaffer mentioned Liverpool's display at the hotel before the match - the gaffer doesn't mind us losing but we have to lose the right way.

"We're lucky we've gone through and we look forward to the Champions League final."
