Panic in Turin as Cristiano Ronaldo plots to dump Juventus after Champions League ouster

Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly considering to quit Juventus before the expiration of his contract in the summer of 2022.

Having joined them from Real Madrid last August in a four year deal valued around £105.30 million in their quest to win Champions League title.

However, they were stunned by Ajax at the quarterfinals of the competition - following their 3-2 defeat on aggregate to the Dutch League side after both legs.

Ronaldo grabbed the opening goal of the game for the Old Lady in the 45th minute but his teammates failed to step up for the rest of the game.

But a goal each from Donny van de Beek and Matthijs de Ligt send the away team to the next stage of the championship, while Juve's dream of winning the title crumbled abruptly.

SunSport however reports that winning the Champions League title remains the priority for the Old Lady who are on the verge of clinching the Serie A title for the eighth consecutive time.

Reports from Italy however claims that the future of the former Manchester United forward in Turin is already in doubts.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juve's camp went totally silent following the result, which has deteriorated Ronaldo's relationship with the club.

The major reason they signed the 34-year-old was to bring the Champions League title back to Turin after over two decades.

They were close to winning the title in 2017 and 2017 but lost on both finals to Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively.
