Top WWE legend 'retires' from professional wrestling after Wrestlemania exclusion

The Undertaker has reportedly 'called it quits' as a professional wrestler following his exclusion from the forth coming Wrestlemania 35 event.

The Phenom will be making an appearance at the Starrcast II wrestling convention on May 25, one day before rival promotion AEW show Double Or Nothing in the same city of Las Vegas.

The Undertaker whose real names are Mark Callaway, officially deleted anything related to the WWE on his social media accounts.

And according to Dave Meltzer who is the editor and publisher of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter quoted by Ringside News claim the 53-year-old could be finally bowing out as a competitor in the ring.

And now that it is certain that the Dead Man will not be making an appearance in wrestling's biggest showpiece, and WWE's tour to Saudi Arabia, the rumours could be true.

Meltzer said: He said: "At least as of a week ago he was not doing either [WrestleMania or Saudi Arabia] and obviously [WWE] can panic and the Saudi Arabia show if the Prince wants him they can offer him so much money to do it, but as of a week ago he was not on either show.

"So I think he's retired as a wrestler."

After the loss to Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 33, it all seemed over for The Undertaker but he returned to defeat John Cena at the Greatest Royal Rumble, Super Show-Down and Crown Jewel.

His last fight was when he was defeated along with his in-character brother Kane in a tag team match by Triple H and Shawn Michaels in a special event in Australia and the former world champion has not been seen since.

The Undertaker became one of the most iconic figures in sports entertainment since joining the WWE from WCW in 1990

He has beaten the biggest names in the WWE roaster including Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock and Randy Orton throughout his stellar career.

With the incredible 24-2 at WrestleMania record, it now looks like the Phenom could be saying goodbye to the ring.
