Eden Hazard was on Thursday night, February 14, manhandled by an unknown fan who invaded the pitch after Chelsea's win over Malmo in the Europa League encounter.

The Belgium international came off the bench in Sweden and had to be rescued by stewards as a fan grabbed him.

Hazard was shaken for a moment after being grabbed by the fan with no one knowing the rationale that made the supporter to enter the pitch.

But the stewards were quick to get the fan off Eden Hazard before the Chelsea star pulled off his match shirt and gave the man.

Uefa who are the Champions League governing body are likely to look into the incident at Malmo's Swedbank stadium.

Chelsea recorded an incredible 2-1 win over the Swedish club with goals from Ross Barkley and Olivier Giroud giving the Blues the advantage into the second leg tie at Stamford Bridge.

"I think we played a good match against a team who are very physical, we were scared a bit of set pieces

"We were in control of the match and we deserved to win with more goals.

"I am happy because we played with confidence and it wasn't really very easy after the last match the 6-0 loss to Manchester City,'' Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri said after the match.
