Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo sets another milestone in Serie A after Lazio winner

Cristiano Ronaldo has set another record after his winner for Juventus in their 2-1 win over Lazio in Sunday.

The Bianconeri had to come from behind at the Stadio Olimpico after Emre Can's own-goal put the home-side ahead.

But Juventus showed champions stuff to come from behind to maintain their unbeaten run in the Italian topflight so far.

Speaking moments after the game, club boss Max Allergi, who was unhappy with Juve's play on the day lamented their shambolic performance.

"We misplaced a lot of passes but it's my fault.

"Until the 60th minute, we lost possession too much, let them counter and Ciro Immobile nearly made it 2-0. It's never been easy to beat Lazio here in Rome," Allegri added.

Joao Cancelo's goal for Juve in the 74th minute was the saving grace that brought back hope for the visitors.

And moments later Cancelo was fouled in the penalty box to hand Ronaldo an opportunity to claim maximum points.

Despite missing from the spot the previous week Ronaldo sent Lazio's shot-stopper Thomas Strakosha the wrong way to net his 18th goal of the season.

Ronaldo's goal was his eighth successive away goal since joining Juventus in 2018 and has now emerged the first player to achieve the feat in 28 years.
