Interim Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted that he wants the Old Trafford job on a permanent basis at the end of the ongoing season.

The 45-year-old Norwegian football manager replaced Jose Mourinho at Manchester United, and he has been impressive since he took over winning all his games.

But there are reports that Manchester United chiefs are planning to hire another manager on permanent basis at the end of the season.

Former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane and current Tottenham gaffer Maurizio Pochettino are the two strong contenders linked with the job at the Theater of Dreams.

''I don't want to leave, of course I don't.

''It's such a great bunch of players, fantastic atmosphere, but it's the next game, it's the next game.

''I'm doing my job as long as I'm here. If you win four you can win another four with this club. That's the challenge, that's the standard we know.

''That used to be the challenge from the gaffer Sir Alex Ferguson,'' Ole Gunnar Solskjaer explained according to Metro UK.
