Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has taken to his social media handle to mock Jonjo Shelvey's horror challenge during United's win against Newcastle.
The England international was lucky to have stayed on the pitch after a crunching challenge saw his studs at the back of Pogba's leg to stop an attack in the second half.
Referee Andre Marriner gave only the foul but deemed no further punishment was necessary for the dangerous tackle.
Pogba then clattered into Shelvey just minutes later but his retribution did not stop there as he went on his social media handle to mock the Magpies midfielder.
He showed off the graze on his leg from the tackle and wrote: "Great win to start 2019. Caption this."
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher, commentating on Sky, said Shelvey should have been shown a red card for the challenge.
"He should be off the pitch for that, Shelvey," claimed the Liverpool legend.
Pogba continued his superb form under the noses of Ole Gunnar Solksjaer as the Red Devils made it four wins out of four matches.
The Red Devils take on Reading in the FA Cup in their next match before travelling to Wembley to face Mauricio Pochettino's Tottenham.
