Arsenal boss Unai Emery gets huge fine from the English FA

Arsenal gaffer Unai Emery has been hit with a fine of £8,000 by the English FA for kicking a water bottle towards a Brighton fan during a Premier League encounter.

The 47-year-old Spanish football manager admitted a charge of improper conduct and has accepted the penalty for that.

He was livid as his wards let a 1-0 lead slip on the south coast ultimately dropping two points against the Seagulls.

But the former Paris-Saint-Germain manager escaped a touchline ban and will be in charge of his club's next game in the Premier League.

"Arsenal Manager Unai Emery has been fined £8,000 after he admitted an FA improper conduct charge and accepted the standard penalty.

"It concerned his conduct during the game against Brighton on 26 December 2018,''

the FA released in a statement according to UK Sun.

Arsenal are currently occupying fifth position on the Premier League standings with 38 points after 20 games played this season.
