Former Real Madrid star reveals the beautiful thing Ronaldo did for Madrid staff

Brazil legend Kaka revealed his former Real Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo once bought 15 phones for staffs of the club.

Ronaldo and Kaka both joined Los Blancos in the summer of 2009 and played for four seasons together.

The Brazilian joined the Bernabeu outfit for a then world record fee of of £56.1million but just one month later after the Spanish club broke their own record as they paid a staggering £80million to sign CR7 from Manchester United.

The former AC Milan star revealed to a Brazilian media outfit SporTV Brazil, how the Portuguese superstar bought 15 phones for club staff during Madrid's pre-season tour of the United States.

Kaka said: "We were going to pre-season in Los Angeles, he would ask someone to buy 15 phones and distribute them to people who worked at the club.

"In very basic everyday things, he showed a lot of the human being who is.

"Cristiano is an amazing guy, really, everyday, he's a kind of 'grade 10', super attentive to everybody."

The ex-Manchester United star who has cultivated a habit of grand gestures is understood to have given a £17,850 tip for hotel staff after staying at a luxury resort in Greece.

Both Kaka and Ronaldo won a La Liga title and a Copa del Rey but the Brazilian struggled to hit top form under Jose Mourinho and returned to AC Milan in 2013.

The 2006 World Cup winner ended his career with Major League Soccer side Orlando City.

Ronaldo went on to win four Champions League titles and five Ballon d'Or awards before joining Serie A giants Juventus.
