Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Paul Pogba have helped Manchester United end a seven-year wait to score 12 goals over three Premier League games.
Pogba has scored four of those goals, setting up a further three for his team-mates, with United's latest win coming against Bournemouth.
Solskjaer became just the third United boss to win his first three league games in charge after an emphatic 4-1 victory over the Cherries.
Combined with 5-1 result against Cardiff and a 3-1 win over Huddersfield, it means United have scored 12 goals over three league games for the first time since 2011.
Sir Alex Ferguson was the man in charge during that period, with the next four managers, David Moyes, Ryan Giggs, Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho, unable to repeat the feat.
Pogba's return to form has been key to United's resurgence, as Solskjaer has helped guide the Frenchman to his free flowing best.
'We needed the win and we had a great performance as well,' Pogba said after the game.
'We are coming back, and there is still a long way to go, but to finish the year like that is beautiful.'
United will aim to continue their winning streak against Newcastle on Wednesday.
