Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi bought Rolex wrist watches for his teammates for helping him win the Serie A top scorer award.

The Argentine international registered 29 goals last season that saw Inter finish in the Champions League spot on the table.

The 25-year-old became the club's first player to reach that figure since Angellio scored 33 goals in the 1958-59 season.

It was the second time Icardi won the Copacannoniere in his career and was keen to appreciate his teammates for their effort on the pitch.

He uploaded an image of the 23 Rolex watches on his Instagram handle with his teammates at the background as they prepare to face Tottenham in a crucial Champions League fixture at the Wembley Stadium.

Alongside the picture was the caption: "I will certainly never for it 'top scorer 2017/18' but I did not want to remember it alone, because without you it would have not been possible."

The Inter captain will be looking to score against Spurs after they won the first leg at the San Siro by 2-1.

Mauricio Pochettino's side are on the brink of crashing out of the competition should they lose to their Serie A opponents.

And a draw for the Premier League side will make it a mountain climb in their last match against Barcelona.
