Neymar attacks match official after PSG's Champions League draw against Napoli

Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar has slammed referee Bjorn Kuipers who officiated their Champions League fixture against Napoli.

The 27-year-old claim the Dutch official was disrespectful towards him and was shown a yellow card for his reaction afterwards.

The Brazilian international was cautioned for arguing with Kuipers before taking a set piece and Neymar had to be pulled away by teammate Kylian Mbappe.

"I don't care about the mistakes that can happen," Neymar said after the match.

"What he told me lacked respect, that's why I lost control and said him a few words.

"He has to respect the players. It's not because he has a whistle or a card that he is above everyone.

"I condemn him for the way he treated me. I hope the people above him can do something about it."

Juan Bernat had earlier put the Parisians ahead in the first half before Lorenzo Insigne drew level to leave Group C wide open.

Liverpool top the group with goal-difference but have six points with Napoli while PSG are third with five and Red Star who shocked the Reds have four.
