Kevin De Bruyne to miss Manchester derby after suffering knee injury

Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne fears he's going to miss at least a month of action after suffering a knee injury in a 2-0 win against Fulham.

The Belgian was making his first start for the club this season after spending two months on the sidelines with a knee injury.

However, the 27-year-old went down holding his knee after a challenge involving on-loan Manchester United ace Timothy Fosu-Mensah.

De Bruyne went down the tunnel after being immediately substitute and Pep Guardiolaadmitted afterwards that the club would have to wait on a scan.

The Telegraph report that De Bruyne fears he is out for at least four weeks, meaning he will miss City's clash against Manchester United next week at the Etihad.

That would rule De Bruyne out of this weekend's clash with Southampton at the Etihad, the Manchester derby a week later and clashes against West Ham, Lyon, Shakhtar Donetsk and Bournemouth.
