Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo was mobbed by fans on Monday evening, October 22, when he arrived Manchester ahead of his side's Champions League tie with the Red Devils.
The 33-year-old footballer spent six good years at Manchester United before joining Spanish giants Real Madrid ahead of their 2009/10 season in a then world record move.
In July 2018, the current holder of the Ballon d'Or left Real Madrid for a move to Italian champions and he has been impressive for the Old Lady this season.
Scores of fans flooded Manchester airport as Ronaldo touched down in familiar territory with his teammates.

Ronaldo needed a large police escort to get through the crowds as one die-hard supporter looked on with a large print of his face on her jumper.

Meanwhile, Juventus are topping Group H in the Champions League with six points after winning their first two games while Manchester United are occupying second position with four points.
