Former Chelsea star set to be hired as manager of top English club

Championship side Aston Villa have sacked Steve Bruce and a number of names have been lined up as possible replacements.
Villa's chief executive Christian Purslow announced on Wednesday, October 3, following their team's poor strings of result in the second-tier division.

The candidates queuing for the managerial position includes; John Terry, Thierry Henry, Paulo Fonseca of Shakhtar Donetsk, former Swansea boss Carlos Carvalhal and Graham Potter.

Terry is currently studying for his coaching badges and was at Chelsea's Cobham base watching a youth team game.

But it is unclear if the former England captain would be comfortable to succeed his former manager who brought him to Upton Park last season.
The team from the West Midlands are currently languishing in 13th position in the Championships table, having narrowly missed getting promoted into the Premier League last season.
