Real Madrid chief Florentino Perez makes an unbelievable statement about Cristiano Ronaldo

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is confident Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo will return to the Santiago Bernabeu sometime soon.

The 33-year-old joined Juventus in a four year deal valued around £100million after ending his nine year reign with the Spanish League giants this summer.

He won four Champions League titles and scored a whooping 450 goals in 438 appearances - with over 130 assists in all competitions.

The former Manchester United forward won a total of 15 trophies and four Ballons d'Or in Madrid, becoming the club's all-time record goalscorer in the process.
And Perez has heaped praise on the player, saying he remains in the hearts of eveyone at the club.

"Cristiano has remained in the heart of all Madridistas, " the 71-year-old told El Chiringuito.
"If I saw him today I'd give him a big hug, he's the worthy heir to Alfredo Di Stefano. One day he'll return to Real Madrid. "

Ronaldo scored his third Serie A goal in Juve's 2-0 win over Frosinone in their last league encounter having endured a dry start in the league.
