Manchester United claimed their third victory of the Premier League season following their 2-1 victory over Watford at Vicarage Road last weekend.
Goals from Romelu Lukaku and Chris Smalling rendered Andre Gray's 65th minute goal mere consolation as they lost their first game of the season.
However, in the wake of their victory on Saturday, both Marcus Rashford and Juan Mata took their spouses out on lunch date.
Though, they were not part of the victory - with the England striker missing out due to suspension while the Spanish midfielder was an unused substitute in the game.
Rashford treated his partner Lucia Loi to lunch at Italian restaurant Piccolino in Cheshire, while Mata enjoyed a cup of coffee with wife Evelina Kamph in Altrincham town centre.
The Spanish midfielder has made just two appearances for the Red Devils this season, but his future at the club is unclear as his contract at the club expires in the summer of 2019.
Speaking on his future, Mourinho revealed his desire to keep the 2010 World Cup winner at Theatre of Dreams.
He said: "Juan and Ander (Herrera), even if they are not playing or not playing a lot, not starting matches, by the personality point-of-view and character point-of-view, by what they represent in the modern society in football, they are almost unique pieces that I also don't want to lose ."
Both Mata and Rashford will be vying to start in Wednesday's Champions League tie against Young Boys in Switzerland.
