Floyd Mayweather announces return to the ring with fight against Mannny Pacquiao

Floyd Mayweather is ready to come out of retirement and fight Manny Pacquiao who recently called out the American.

Pacman (60-7-2), defeated Luca Matthyse in July to lift a secondary welterweight title and challenged Mayweather for a rematch following his victory.

Mayweather also known as Money, (50-0,27 KOs) earned a unanimous decision win against the 39-year-old Filipino when the two met in a hyped-up show-down.

The two faced each other in a welterweight unification bout on May 2, 2015, in Las Vegas.

The 40-year-old made his intentions to step back into the ring and face Pacquiao clear via an Instagram post seen by TUKO.co.ke, on Saturday, September 15.

"Im coming back to fight Manny Pacquiao this year another nine figure pay day on the way," the world most-highest paid athlete said.

Philstar reported that Pacquiao and Mayweather accidentally bumped into each other at an Electronic Dance Music (EDM) concert in Tokyo, Japan on Saturday.

The two stars are seen bumping into each other during the concert, in the video that instantly went viral on social media.

Pacquiao had indeed earlier mentioned his next fight would be in December, but was yet to make his opponent known.

According to ESPN, Mayweather made a staggering ($220 million) from his last fight with Pacquiao.

Since then he has bagged two victories; one over Andre Berto and another against Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) star Conor Mcgregor, in August 2017.
