See 5 soccer legends who are now owners of football clubs   

     Players are the major characters of the game of football in which many of them have made lots of money while playing the round leather game.

Stars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Mikel Obi, Neymar, and others became famous thanks to football in which their families, friends are proud of them.
But there are some retired players who have now turned to club owners and we shall be looking at five of these stars.

1. Didier Drogba - Phoenix Rising
40-year-old Ivorian Didier Drogba became famous when he was playing for Premier League giants Chelsea considering the level at which he used to score goals then for the Blues.
Drogba is now a co-owner of US based club Phoenix Rising who are playing in the second division in America.

2. Paolo Maldini - Miami FC
Paolo Maldini is an Italian former professional footballer who played as a left-back and central defender for A.C. Milan and the Italy national team.
Maldini spent his entire 25 years football career at AC Milan before retiring at the age of 41 in 2009 and he is now a co-owner of Miami FC.

3. David Beckham - Miami MLS
Former Manchester United star David Beckham spent $25 million to buy Miami MLS, but the team will not take to the pitch until the year 2020.
He began his career with Manchester United where he made his first-team debut in 1992 aged 17 and also won the Premier League title six times, the FA Cup twice, and the UEFA Champions League in 1999.

4. Ronaldo de Lima - Real Valladolid
Real Madrid and Barcelona legend Ronaldo de Lima has completed the €30m (£27m) takeover of newly promoted La Liga side Real Valladolid and he now owns 51 percent of the club.

5. Man United class of 1992 - Salford City FC
Salford City F.C. is a first rising club currently competing in the National League which is the fifth level in English Football League system.

Manchester United legends Ryan Giggs, Gary Neville, Phil Neville, Paul Scholes, and Nicky Buti took over the club in 2014 and they own 10% each in which the remaining 50% is owned by local businessman Peter Lim.
