Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal are fighting over the signature of Senegal's World Cup star Ismaila Sarr, according to The Sun.

The 20-year-old is currently playing his club football for Rennes in Ligue 1, but he attracted attention at this summer's World Cup for a string of impressive performances for Senegal.

Rennes want around £50 million for Sarr and the Premier League's traditional top four are said to be keen on signing him.

And it's not just England's elite sides who are monitoring Sarr as well, with Barcelona and Juventus also said to have been watching him develop in France.

'He is very fast with an excellent technique,' Thierno Seydi, Sarr's agent, told SunSport. 'He has the same qualities as Dembele of Barcelona. They are similar players.

'I have received many calls from English and German clubs and maybe even one from Italy.

'Many agents from the UK have called me proposing to work with them and Ismaïla to get him to the Premier League.

'One Italian agent asked to speak with Juventus. The price will be around 50-60m Euros.'

Sarr played 33 times for Metz before his transfer to Rennes in 2017, where he has made 27 appearances.
