Chelsea and Barcelona 'keen' on signing £70m-rated Juventus playmaker Miralem Pjanic this summer

Chelsea will be forced to part with £70 million if they are to sign Barcelona target Miralem Pjanic.

The Juventus midfielder, who has already been contacted by the LaLiga side about a potential move, is reportedly wanted to provide competition for Cesc Fabregas at Stamford Bridge.

And, according to Corriere dello Sport, the FA Cup holders have been set an eye-watering price if they wish to lure the Bosnia midfielder away from Italy.

However, Barca are also extremely interested in the 27-year-old.

The report by the Italian publication goes on to claim the Catalan giants want Pjanic to replace the legendary Andres Iniesta at the Camp Nou.

Spanish legend Iniesta announced last season he would be joining J-League side Vissel Kobe after spending his entire career with Barca.

Should Pjanic leave Turin this summer, Juventus have reportedly identified Manchester United target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic as a potential replacement.

The Red Devils are reportedly considering backing out of the race for the Serbia international, who is valued close to £130 million.
