Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has 'liked' an Instagram post suggesting the Gunners should sign Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele for £87million.
The north London club have been linked with a summer move for the France international after he made an unspectacular start to life at Camp Nou following his £135m switch from Borussia Dortmund last summer.
The 21-year-old got injured shortly after arriving in Catalonia, missing much of the first half of the season, and only made 23 appearances in total in his maiden campaign at the club.
There have been suggestions in the Spanish media that Barca might allow Dembele to leave, and Arsenal, along with Liverpool, have been cited as a possible destination.
And clearly Aubameyang, who grew very close to Dembele during their season together at Dortmund, would love to be reunited with the youngster at the Emirates.
The 29-year-old striker, who joined the Gunners in January, 'liked' a post from Arsenal Fan TV on Instagram which mentioned the rumour and asked if Arsenal should 'go all out' to sign Dembele.
It is not the first time Aubameyang has used to social media to drop hints about Arsenal's transfer activity, also commenting on their pursuit of centre-back Sokratis last week.
However, Arsenal could have trouble signing Dembele, with Barca president Josep Bartomeu adamant he will not leave: 'Coutinho and Dembele are for us a big investment.
'They are very important players and we expect a lot from them. But Dembele is a very young player, a very talented player that we are, of course, expecting a lot from.
'He's been demonstrating during the season that he's a good young player for us. But, of course, next season will be different.
'It's not easy to play in Barcelona the first year because the model of football is quite different from the rest.
'But after one year I'm sure we are going to see Dembele and Coutinho at a very high level.'
