The airplane that flew Liverpool players to Kiev, Ukraine, for the UEFA Champions League final is the same one scheduled to fly World Cup-bound Super Eagles to England on Wednesday (today).
According to a tweet from Samm Audu, the official reporter of the Super Eagles for the 2018 World Cup, the president of Nigeria Football Federation, Ahmadu Pinnick made the revelation.
The Super Eagles will be treated to a farewell reception by President Muhammadu Buhari today at the presidential villa, before departing for England for a friendly match with the English team.
Nigerians are however reacting to the news that the Super Eagles are flying in the same jet that the Liverpool team flew in to lose the UCL final to Real Madrid on Saturday.
