President Muhammadu Buhari has assured the women and youths in the country that they will not be disappointed by the end of his second term.
Buhari, who won re-election after the February 23 polls, gave the assurance during a victory dinner organised for the All Progressives Congress Women and Youth Campaign Council at the Presidential Villa yesterday.
"I very much appreciate your coming here tonight," Buhari stated.
"I am congratulating ourselves for succeeding. If we had failed, my good God, thank goodness we have succeeded."
In a report by Punch, the president also acknowledged the contribution of the youth and women to his re-election.
President Buhari also responded to the call by the women and youth to include more of them in his new cabinet, adding that he will not deny appointments to persons of integrity.
