Ariana Grande suspends European Tour after Manchester bombing

Ariana Grande has suspended her European tour, following the terror attack during her show at the Manchester Arena on Monday.

The American pop singer was scheduled to perform two concerts at the O2 Arena in London on Thursday and Friday.

"Due to the tragic events in Manchester, the Dangerous Woman tour with Ariana Grande has been suspended until we can further assess the situation and pay our proper respects to those lost," the tour's promoters said in a statement on Wednesday.

Cancelled concerts include those in London this week, as well as all others until the one planned for June 5 in Switzerland.

The promoters added: "We ask at this time that we all continue to support the city of Manchester and all those families affected by this cowardice and senseless violence. Our way of life has once again been threatened but we will overcome this together. Thank you."

Grande returned to her home town of Boca Raton in Florida on Tuesday.

Hours after the attack, she tweeted: "Broken. From the bottom of my heart, I am so so sorry. I don't have words."
