5 Ondo Civil Servants Who Made N200m From Issuing Fake Driving License, Tax Clearance Certificates, Arrested
The Ondo State Police Command has arrested five Ondo State Government workers for allegedly defrauding the government of the sum of N200m issuing fake receipts.

The suspects are Oluwatoyin Abiodun, Ojo Ayodeji, David Omoyajowo, Isaac Solomon and Femi Tuki, as well as one Ayadi Orimisan, who allegedly assisted the five suspects to perpetrate the alleged fraud.

It was learnt that the suspects were suspended from work by the state government before they were handed over to the police.

Parading the suspects at the headquarters of the command at Alagbaka, Akure, on Tuesday, spokesman for the police in the state, Mr Femi Joseph said the suspects also allegedly issued fake tax clearance certificates, fake roadworthiness certificates and fake driving licenses to unsuspecting members of the public.

Joseph said, "They would be charged to court as soon as we conclude our investigations."
