Unbelievable: 12 and 13-year-old Girls Caught Dealing Cannabis Inside Their School

According to a report by Metro UK, two year 7 Australian girls have allegedly been caught dealing cannabis at their school.

Police were called to Melbourne Girls' College, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, after the students, aged 12 and 13, were allegedly rumbled by staff.

The youngsters are still attending classes despite officers launching an investigation into the allegations.

Head teacher Karen Money told the Herald Sun:

'We are working with the students involved and their parents to ensure the issue is appropriately dealt with, including supporting them to make the right decisions in the future.'

Victoria police said they planned to tackle the wider problem of drugs by working close with the school, according to Newscorp.

Cannabis is the most popular drug in secondary schools in Australia, according to the 2014 Students' Alcohol and Drug survey.

Senior Constable Natalie Dean said: 'Victoria police will continue to work with the school to educate on the harms associated with illicit drug use.'
