BREAKING: Gunmen Invade Church In Anambra, Kill Over 50 Worshippers [Watch Videos]

Gunmen numbering about 5 invaded St Philips Catholic Church, Amakwa Ozubulu, Ekwusigo Local Government Area, Anambra state and killed over 50 worshippers(unconfirmed)

According to an eyewitness, the gunmen invaded the church around 7:30 am today, Sunday, August 6th, 2017
The death toll is on the increase as the injured and the dead bodies have been taken to Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi.

All the the doctors and pharmacists attending mass in the hospital have retired to the theatre and casualty units for surgeries and treatment.

The church was built by a South African-based business man and philanthropist, popularly known as Bishop.

According to reports, Bishop left the town yesterday before today's unfortunate incident.

Unconfirmed reports say that the gunmen, after the church massacre, proceeded to the philanthropist's house and shot his father dead.

Meanwhile, insinuations from different quarters believe it may not be unconnected with the recent drug war by some Indigenes of Ozubulu in South Africa.
