Protest ensued at the Ikotun area of Lagos, after one 'Aboy Life of Jingah' was allegedly shot dead by SARS operatives, at Oyins Holiday Inn, for refusing a phone search.
The young man simply identified with the name, was allegedly shot dead by operatives of the Special Anti-robbery Squad (SARS) in Lagos on suspicion that he was a 'Yahoo Boy'.
According to reports making rounds online, Aboy was reportedly gunned down at Oyins Holiday Inn, a hotel in the Ikotun area of Lagos for 'trying to run away' after a policeman asked him to unlock his phone for inspection.
His death has sparked an outrage among friends who are now demanding justice.
