Nine patients have been discharged in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, after testing negative to the deadly Coronavirus disease.
This was confirmed by Mallam Muhammed Musa Bello, the FCT Minister in a tweet via his official Twitter account on Wednesday.
He said, "Dear FCT residents, I am delighted to announce the discharge of additional nine (9) COVID-19 patients in the FCT after they tested negative.
"They have now returned to their homes.
"The total number of discharged patients in the FCT is now 20 as at 5:50am, April 15th, 2020. "
We recall that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on Tuesday confirmed 19 new cases of Coronavirus across the country.
An additional 11 cases of the virus have been confirmed in Lagos, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 373. 99 have been discharged with 11 deaths recorded.
