The Senior Pastor of Awaiting The Second Coming Of Jesus Christ, Adewale Giwa, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to take decisive action to prevent further killing of citizens by terrorist groups in the country.
The cleric compares Buhari government to that of biblical Jehoram, king of Judah, whose administration created brinkmanship in the northern Kingdom of Israel.
According to Giwa, Buhari's hands are stained with blood, and nothing is done to address the situation.
The outspoken Christian leader, who also lambasted some clergymen who could not call "a spade a spade" just because of their selfish interest, said," I demand nothing but good governance and national security from President Muhammadu Buhari.
"Good governance holds the attributes of transparency, efficiency, fairness participation, rule of law, accountability, and decency. Do we have these attributes in Nigeria today?
"It is unfortunate that most of our clergymen the country is parading have decided to step their feet on the path of the wicked; God will hold them accountable for their silence, God will question them for allowing evil to continue to befall the nation by not speaking the truth to power.
