Details of the cause of her death are yet to be confirmed, but it is confirmed that the Area Mama, as she is fondly called on her radio show, died on Monday, November 19, 2018.
Tosyn Bucknor worked with Top Radio for 7 years where she was known as 'Area Mama' before joining Inspiration FM.
She passed on one year after the death of her dad, Segun Bucknor, a Nigerian musician and journalist who was active during the 1960s and 1970s.
The late OAP was married to a French, Aurelien Boyer.
Tosyn Bucknor was also an actress, singer, songwriter, and writer and has featured in soaps like, "Now We Are married", "Tinsel" and a couple of others.
The OAP was a sister to top event planner, Funke Bucknor Obruthe.
Tosyn born on August 15, 1981 was a graduate of the University of Lagos where she studied Law.
She has won many awards including the Nigerian Broadcaster's award, Future Awards, Exquisite Lady of the year and others.
