Guzel Zakirova, a 23-year-old bride was killed on the way to her wedding when her car "crumpled like a tin" in a head-on crash in Russia.
According to Te Sun UK, Guzel Zakirova was driving with a friend to meet her husband-to-be Ilnar Shafikov, 26, when a 31-year-old man rammed into her car in Bashkortostan.
The young bride, who was on her way to the civil ceremony after getting her hair done, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Her female passenger was badly injured in the crash and taken to hospital, with the man who crashed into the bride's car.
The man was driving a Nissan when he crashed into Guzel's Lada.
Family and friends have paid tribute to the young woman as they attended her funeral. Instead of attending her wedding, relatives were forced to organise her funeral.
Her heartbroken husband-to-be Ilnar Shafikov, 26, was the last to leave the cemetery.
Shafikova, 57, said: "They had such a bright, strong love. He was madly in love with her.
"He would call her after waking up in the morning, and in the evening when he was back home from work.
"He had her photos on his phone, on his computer. I don't know how will he live now."
A friend said: "She was so bright and happy.
How could this happen on what should have been her best day."
A relative wrote: "This was supposed to be your happiest day, and now you're dead."
