Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has taken to Facebook to launch his campaign for the 2019 presidential election.
This brings an end to uncertainties surrounding his controversial ambition to seek reelection as governor in 2018 following his botched first term in office.
Fayose's impeachment in 2006 had been voided by the Supreme Court, sparking debates that he could return to see out his term.
However, the Ekiti strongman, who's also the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Governors' Forum, has now turned his attention to seizing power at the centre in 2019.
