A National leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, on Monday warned the military against staging any coup.
Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State issued the warning in an address to the State House of Assembly.
He warned the military that, "there is no place for them in Lagos and in the country."
Tinubu said, "We will not buy it. Lagos will resist it. Nigeria is hard to be broken. Many died to get this democracy and those who intend to break it are mistaken. Nigerians will not buy a coup now."
Following the recent medical trip of President Muhammadu Buhari, there have been rumours in certain quarters that possible coup against the current government.
