Wilfred Ndidi named Leicester City Young Player of the Year

Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, has
won Leicester City's Young Player of the Year
award.
The 20-year-old only joined the Foxes in
January from Genk.
Ndidi beat Ben Chiwell and Demarai Gray to
the award, after scoring two English Premier
League goals in 15 appearances.
"It's so great to be rated alongside Demarai
Gray and Chiwell," Ndidi, whose goal
against Stoke City was also nominated for the
goal of the season award, told Leicester City
TV.
"I believe if they had enough chances to play
probably they would have won the award."
Goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel won the Players'
Player of the Season award, while Danny
Drinkwater took home the Goal of the Season
award for his strike against Liverpool.
