Family digs out two corpses of rival family, over land dispute

A long rivalry between two families in Isiozi Umuaka, Imostate, escalated yesterday after one of the parties dug out two corpses of the rival family, three weeks after the burial.

According to reports, the corpses were those of a mother and her daughter-in-law who died 6 and 4 years ago respectively, but couldn't be buried due to the dispute between the families.

However, the family of the deceased persons proceeded to bury them three weeks ago, but the rival family, insisting that the case is still in court, dug out the corpses.
