A Ghastly Motor Accident which occurred at the early hours of Tuesday along San'ina Local Government Area of Sokoto state claimed five lives, living five others severely injured.
The Truck which was loaded with grains is traveling from Wasagu Local Government Area of Kebbi developed tyre problem, diverted and crashed into the bush.
A team of Nema Sokoto officials on routine vigil in respective major roads of Zamfara- Sokoto-Kebbi states for the 'Operation Eagle- Eye' with the aid of other emergency workers and bystanders evacuated the victims to the General Hospital in Bodinga Local Government Area of Sokoto state.
However, the truck driver's whereabouts cannot be ascertained, searches by the agency staff and others carried out in the bush with the hope to find him prove abortive.
Meanwhile, the recovered dead bodies has
since been deposited at the hospital morgue,
while the injured victims are currently on
admission receiving treatment.
