Tension has taken over Ologbo, Irri kingdom, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, following the installation of Pa. Joshua Edowafe F. Aghagba as Odion Ologbo of Irri kingdom by the Delta State government, Vanguard reports.
Speaking to newsmen at Irri in Isoko South, the claimant, Odion Eloho Jacko said the High Court at Oleh had restrained the Delta State government from installing/crowning Pa. Jashua Edowafe F. Aghagba as Odion Ologbo of Irri kingdom or be presented with a Staff of Office.
Jacko said the court also restrained Pa. Joshua Edowafe F. Aghagba from presenting or allowing himself to be crowned, parading himself or carry on the function as Odion Ologbo of Irri kingdom pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice.
He said he was surprise that despite the court order at the High Court of Justice, Oleh not to go ahead pending the hearing, the state government went ahead and crowned Pa Edowafe Aghagba as Odion Ologbo of Irri kingdom.
The Odion Eloho Jacko had expressed displeasure over the manner the state government, her servants, agents ignored the court order and went ahead to install Pa. Aghagba.
He said by going contrary to the court order to install Pa. Aghagba,it is a mark of disrespecting the Nigeria constitution and a slap on the judiciary..
