Deborah Lowe, a 53-year-old former air hostess who took up a job as a teacher became 'infatuated' with a 15-year-old boy and had s*x with him, a court has heard.
According to Metro UK, Deborah Lowe is accused of grooming the teenager while teaching at a school in Cheadle, Greater Manchester.
She appeared at Stockport Magistrates' Court yesterday following her arrest for s*xual activity with a child under the age of 16 and abuse of a position of trust.
Lowe is a mother of two and is separated from her husband, the court was told, and is living in a caravan in Poynton, Cheshire.
She appeared tanned in court with her hair in a bun, and wearing a black leather jacket with black jumper and blue jeans.
Lowe is accused of intentionally touching a boy aged 15, not reasonably believing he was 16 or over, between September 14, 2014 and and September 13, 2015.
That touching was sexual penetration of her vagina with his penis. She also faces a charge of abusing a position of trust by being in a sexual relationship with a boy aged 16 between 15 September 15, 2015, and July 31, 2016.
Prosecutor Tina Cunnane said that police had recovered diary entries and text messages showing she was 'infatuated' with the boy.
Lowe admitted having a sexual relationship with the teenager, now 17, but said that it was after he had left the school and denies two charges.
She was remanded in custody and will appear at Minshull Street Crown Court on August 16.
