Policemen in Germany have setup a huge manhunt for a teenage psychopath who stabbed a nine-year-old boy to death - and then posted a video boasting of the murder on social media.
He was identified as Marcel H., 19, a bespectacled martial arts enthusiast alleged to have murdered the youngster in the small town of Herne in the western state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
The victim's body was later discovered by police in the cellar of a shared family home in the town shortly after dusk on Monday, according to Sun UK.
The victim was not related to his murderer but may have known him from the area. After the boy was stabbed multiple times Marcel H. posted the video about it on the so-called 'dark web'.
The dark web is the lurid, unpatrolled side of cyberspace specialising in pornography, paedophilia, drugs and "snuff" movies.
It was a dark web user - who claimed to know the killer - who was upset by the images of the little boy who contacted police.
Police did not reveal just how much of the crime was videoed and shared but media reported that the corpse of the boy was visible. The killer also entered a chatroom after the murder and held his bloodstained hands up to the camera.
Little is known about Marcel H. except that police have said he is dangerous and warned the public not to approach him. They do not know if he has other weapons with him.
