LaLiga: Zidane reacts as Real Madrid open two-point gap ahead of Barcelona

Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane, has warned his players that a two-point lead at the top of the table, does not mean they now have the advantage over Barcelona.

Casemiro scored the winning goal for Los Blancos, as they sealed a 1-0 victory at Espanyol on Sunday night.

The win took Zidane's men up to 71 points, two more than their rivals Barca.

However, the Frenchman is not getting carried away, even with six games left.

"This will be decided at the end of the season.

"I always think about the league I won as a coach in 2017. We won it in the last game [a 2-0 win at Malaga]. The same thing will happen here.

"We're happy with five wins in a row but it doesn't change anything, we've got six finals left," Zidane told Movistar.

Real welcome Getafe on Thursday, a day after Barcelona and Atletico Madrid will clash at the Camp Nou.
