Cuppy's exit from Arsenal came after the Gunners suffered a 2-1 defeat against Brighton in the Premier League despite going ahead in the game.

In an emotional breakup statement, a tearful Cuppy said she couldn't take the heartbreak again that Arsenal has consistently caused her.

And some days after leaving the North London club, the famous Nigerian DJ said she was in search of a new club and opted to join Man United only on one condition.

According to her, if Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo scores against Norwich City in the FA Cup, she will officially become a Manchester United fan.

"As a Nigerian I think it's only right that if Odion Ighalo scores a goal today... I will officially join Manchester United as a fan," she wrote.

She has now become a fan of the Red Devils as Ighalo replied her by finding the back of the net in the 51st minute in Man United 2-1 win against Norwich City.

The 31-year-old continued his incredible goal scoring form as he has now scored five times in 11 games for Manchester United and has found the back of the net in every game he has started for the club.

Following Ighalo's goal, Man United have now taken to Twitter to officially welcome DJ Cuppy to the club.

The club wrote 'welcome aboard' under her post.
