Spanish League giant Real Madrid are reportedly planning to make a surprise move for Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi this summer.
The 23-year-old who recently became a father has been super impressive for Leicester City since he joined them in January 2017.
He racked up the Premier League best tackler record for two consecutive seasons and he has since been linked with top European clubs.
According to fichajes.com, Los Blancos are interested in the Nigerian star with the aim of taking the role of Casemiro at the Santiago Bernabeu.
A report on the website reads: "Real Madrid have among their priorities the arrival of a new midfielder to their ranks.
Merengue coach Zinedine Zidane only has the Brazilian Casemiro as a specialist in the defensive midfield position after Marcos Llorente's departure to Atlético de Madrid last summer.
"In this situation, other proper names emerge. And one of the options that most seduces and is echoed by the information published by Central Defense is the one featuring Nigerian Wilfred Ndidi."
