Panic for Ighalo as Man United reach £62m agreement for high-rated European striker

Moussa Dembele has reportedly reached an agreement with Premier League giants Man United for a £62million move during the summer, Todofichajes reports.

The Lyon striker has been linked with the Red Devils for a number of months and they even tried to land him at Old Trafford during the January transfer window.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer missed out on Erling Haaland last summer but the Norwegian star chose Borussia Dortmund instead.

Spanish new media outlet Todofichajes claims that a deal has finally been agreed between all the parties involved.

The 23-year-old has 42 goals in 88 appearances since his arrival from Scottish side Celtics in 2018.

It is understood that Lyon have also been forced to finish the league in seventh position as a result of the coronavirus crisis.

The French government declared the season over, and with lack of European football for Lyon next season, they will be forced to sell to recoup their losses in the past two months.

Club President Jean-Michel Aulas has admitted he might have no choice but to sell his star players.

He said: "I am going to do everything to keep the players.

"But players who are programmed to play in Europe could want to go elsewhere because we don't have European football."
