Nigerian star spotted training in public ahead of Premier League return

Odion Ighalo has been on the edge to return to full training as he was seen training in a Cheshire Park on Monday, May 11, 2020.

The Nigerian striker was spotted doing some drills after the government announced that the Premier League would return on June 1, 2020, with matches played behind closed doors.

The Manchester United star wore his No.25 shorts with a red shirt and a white Nike trainers in the park.

Ighalo also made time to sign an autograph for a supposed United fan as he maintained the social distancing rules.

The 30-year-old has scored four goals in eight matches so far for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men since his January arrival.

And he is set to continue from where he stopped before the coronavirus sprang up and crippled all footballing activities around the globe.

Matches are slated to return by June 1, but games will be played with spectators in attendance until a cure for COVID-19 is found.
