Ronaldo's training pal reveals 1 thing Juventus striker is ready to do once season restarts

Cristiano Ronaldo is back in Turin, Italy, after spending close to two months back home in Madeira Portugal, no thanks to the dreaded coronavirus crisis which has shut-down the globe.

Young Nacional de Madeira goalkeeper Felipe Goncalves who was the legend's training partner back home disclosed that the Juventus striker is happy at the Italian club.

Goncalves added that Ronaldo is raring to go as he is fit and hoping for a restart of the league season as quickly as possible.

Cristiano Ronaldo is "very happy" at Juventus and in "great shape" ahead of a potential return to action, says Filipe Goncalves, a young goalkeeper at Nacional de Madeira who has been working with the Portuguese during lockdown.

The Juventus striker and family returned to Italy after spending the entire lockdown period in his home town in Madeira, Portugal.

Ronaldo, partner Georgina Rodriguez and the children returned to Italy in his a private jet owned by the former Real Madrid striker after they all spent two months away.

CR7 is ready to join his team-mates as they hope the Serie A will resume any moment in a bid to win more laurels.

It was gathered that the 35-year-old wanted to return to Italy as soon as possible and now they are staying in a stunning property many describe as a haven.

"He seemed very happy with his experience in Italy, in Turin and in particular to play at Juventus," Goncalves told Tuttosport, cited in GOAL.

"He told me several times that the club is very large, organised and he has huge admiration for the Juventus fans, who care so much about him."

"The training lasted an hour," added Goncalves.

"But Cristiano arrived at the field after having already trained at home. And after the shots on goal he did technical exercises and shots."
