EPL chiefs make big decision on when and how the suspended season will be completed

Premier League board are now planning to restart the English topflight division on June 12 in which all the remaining games of the season will be played behind closed doors.

But that will be if the Government of the United Kingdom should agree for football to return in England. Should they accept, then all the 20 clubs in the Premier League will play all their games at neutral grounds.

Due to the continuous threat of coronavirus, Premier League board were forced to suspend the topflight so as to prevent the spread of the disease.

And since then, the League body have been deliberating on many ways they can go through for the possibility of the season to restart.

According to the report on UK Sun, Premier League chiefs also had video conference meeting on Friday, May 1, where they talked on many issues about the League.

Clubs remain determined to finish the season if possible - as long as there is government approval.

Boris Johnson who is England Prime Minister has reportedly signalled the national lockdown will only be eased in stages before it can be cancelled totally.

The report added that the Premier League clubs have agreed to meet again next week Friday for them to reach a meaningful conclusion.

Liverpool will be the greatest beneficiaries should the League resumes because they will have the chance to win the title.
